The HandPunch 3000 now brings the possibility of biometric hand scanning to a wide range of time and attendance applications. With a HandPunch employees can clock-in for work without the use of cards. Your business won’t have to create or administer cards, and users’ credentials can’t get lost, stolen or duplicated. The HandPunch 3000 comes standard with a built-in Ethernet connection allowing for quick integration into your time and attendance application and existing network infrastructure.

Since the user is identified by hand geometry – the unique size and shape of her or his hand – costly “buddy punching” is eliminated. This means that one employee can’t punch in for the other.

Designed to grow with your business, the user capacity of the HandPunch 3000 can be easily expanded in the field. Standard user memory provides for up to 512 employees with the expandability to grow to 259,072 users.

In addition to time and attendance applications, the HandPunch 3000-E provides the capability of unlocking and monitoring a door. Now you can enhance your access control system, while ensuring accurate employee punch records and saving money.

The HandPunch 3000 uses Schlage’s field-proven hand geometry biometric technology. The terminal captures an image of the hand each time the employee punches. The hand’s size and the shape are used to verify their identity with unparalleled accuracy. No fingerprints or palm prints are utilized. Green and red lights notify the employee of the status of each punch. There’s no question any more; employees have to be there to punch.
